Who we are

Fun Libs is made by Whimsical Works, the name Hallvard Hetlelid and Asgeir Albretsen publish Fun Libs under (“we”). By using Fun Libs you agree to these terms. Questions: playiagogames@gmail.com.

Using Fun Libs

• Anyone can play. You need to be at least 13 to create an account.
• Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings or in the app’s menu.

Stories you write

Stories you publish stay yours. By publishing, you let us show, store and share them in Fun Libs and on funlibs.app, including on your profile and in feeds and search. Don’t publish anything hateful, sexual, violent, harassing or spam, or anything you don’t have the right to share. We can hide or remove stories and close accounts that break these rules.

AI stories

AI stories are written by an AI model from the idea you give it. They can be odd or wrong, and you’re responsible for the ideas you send and for what you publish. Free accounts get 2 AI stories a month and Fun Libs Plus includes 100. Unused stories don’t carry over to the next month. We may change these limits, and we’ll tell you before a change affects a subscription you already have.

Purchases

Packs, “Remove ads”, the Everything bundle and Fun Libs Plus belong to your Fun Libs account and work on funlibs.app and in the app when you’re signed in with that account. “Remove ads” removes ads on funlibs.app and in the app.

• On funlibs.app, payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (the reseller) for our web orders. Stripe takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and helps with questions about payments and refunds.
• In the app, purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, and their terms apply to the payment.
• Packs, “Remove ads” and the Everything bundle are one-time purchases. The Everything bundle includes packs we add later.

Fun Libs Plus

Fun Libs Plus is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time: on funlibs.app from the subscription link in your Stripe receipt or on the Plus page, and in the app from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Plus stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. While it’s active, it includes every pack and removes ads; those end with the subscription unless you bought them separately.

Refunds

If you’re not happy with something you bought on funlibs.app, ask for a refund within 14 days of paying and you’ll get your money back. For a subscription, this applies to the first payment and to each renewal. Ask by replying to your Stripe receipt or by emailing playiagogames@gmail.com. A refunded item is removed from your account.

Refunds for purchases made in the app are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Fun Libs, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and tell you in the app or on the site before it applies. If we ever shut Fun Libs down, we’ll give you notice and refund Plus subscriptions for any time you’ve paid for and can’t use.

Responsibility

Fun Libs is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you live in another country, you still get the consumer protections of that country.
