On Christmas Eve, Malcum Brown sharpened his favorite Adjective pencil and announced, “Tonight I will draw the greatest Noun in holiday history!” He sketched Santa riding a(n) Animal, elves wearing Article of clothing, and a snowman playing the Instrument. Every picture looked so cheerful that the Christmas tree began to Verb Adverb. Then Grandma set down a bowl of cantaloupe. Malcum gasped like a tiny Bug. “That is the fruit, not the animal, and I still object!” To save the party, he drew a(n) Material sign that said, “Please trade for Food.” Everyone laughed, clapped, and offered him a mug of Beverage. By morning, his drawings covered the Place, and even the cantaloupe looked almost Adjective. Malcum felt pure Emotion and called it his most Christmasy masterpiece ever.
